Thanks Ronen.  I'm trying to find where to get to this 9 step procedure.  If I could get there, I think I could manage.  But I can't get to that point: What I've tried- customize> Screens> Quickbooks_Invoice > ...then at this point, there's no edit option.  I clicked on copy, but there was nothing ...

Hi lvharris, I just wanted to confirm your steps when sending out the e-mail through an activity because I didn't receive the e-mail through the activity as if I was the Customer/Lead in Method that you created the activity for. I'm punting...there's definitely an important difference between clicking on a typical Method tab for navigation and clicking a button/link I place on a screen as a different means of navigating to a screen. I can't determine what that difference is so I'm just going to make my Customers and Contacts List screen the default.
