When a user registeres for our customer portal, they receive an email with their credentials; however, the 'from' field of this email is the direct email of one of our CRM users and not from a general mailbox. We would like for this email to come from 'noreply@ourdomain.com' so that customers do not email one of our users ...

No, that's not a standard feature. But you could add that through customization:
1. Add a new field called secondaryemail to the Users table.
2. Create a simple screen based on the User's table. It could be as simple as having only a grid with the fields you need, and making sure it supports edit.
3. On the button that ...

Ahhh, two very important points you made there that helped greatly, Valbon:
1) the RecordID and the QB Sales Order # are not the same field.
2) the RecordID, once created, cannot be changed.

Hi MethodPRonen,
Thank you for your replies. I have implemented your technique on page load. It is close to what I want. The grid is sorted on a field other than RecordID. Unfortunately, the Retrieve Value From Table action provides no sorting parameters. As you indicated in your instructions, I am retrieving ...

HI jdaniello,
If your company will never offer the products and services that the lead was requiring, then you will need to set the status of the lead to inactive.
If your company will sometimes in the future offer the products and services that they were looking for, but doesn’t currently offer it then I would leave the lead as active ...

Hi Viret,
Just as a follow-up to what we have dscussed, I wanted to let you know that this is not how we normally set the actve ID on our original screens. The way we set an active ID is when we open up a tab link, a screen, a pop-up, and when you click on Select within a grid to populate the information onto the screen.
I ...

In our business, every order starts with filling out a Sales Order. I'm setting up method so that all the different forms (except quotes) are generated based off the Sales Order - Invoices, Purchase Orders, Credit Memos, etc. (If you're wondering why you would related POs to a Sales Order, its because we're a drop shipping company, ...
