Hey Lance,
Method doesn't have a seperate SMTP gateway, you'll have to set-up an SMTP open relay on your exchange server in order for Method emails to go through. This is something I recommend you speak with your exchange server technicians about, there's usually a structured way to do this -- Microsoft Exchange, for instance, allows ...

Hi David,
Unfortunately, there is no way to automate the sending out of the overdue balance notificiation. These must be sent out by a Method user when they click an event (a button for example). You can see this post for a more detailed discussion. In the post, Jason mentions that you can use the Listbuilder to send out ...

Hey DavidD,
You can do something like this by writing up the code in HTML, you can edit the template code by clicking the HTML button on the toolbar. Perform a quick search online for assistance on getting this done. I found an example that may help but it isn't exactly what you're looking for.
Remember to use your actual portal URL in ...

Hi Marcelo,
When you are creating an invoice in Method, you will always be given the option To Be Emailed In Quickbooks (see the screenshots below). This field will sync with the same field in Quickbooks. With a bit of customization, you should also be able to flag which customers will have this field checked by default, and which ...

viret56,
To my knowledge the only way to attach a document uploaded to Method would be to have the document field available on the screen. In other words, create a screen based off of the documents library table. I haven't done this type of customization myself, so I'd have to dive into it more. I do know that a ...

Hi again Jessica,
As stated over the phone this is definitely something that can be done through customization. It would involve having your own custom List Builder screen and editing it to select only the Customer Types you would want to include in your list. If you would like to setup a session with one of our consultants for training or ...

Hi John,
Yes a Gmail address will definitely work with Method! Are you creating a standard @gmail address or are you switching over to Google Apps for business? If you're switching over to Google Apps then check out our MethodCRM app for Gmail which is free to use for current MethodCRM customers. It's basically a small-scale ...

Hi!
Changing the date format in a report
You can change the date format to only show the date and not the time by changing the format string for the field. To do this open the report from the report designer and click once on the field you want to change. Click the arrow just above the field to get into the properties and make the changes where ...

Hi Jschoff,
Unless someone here at Method will advise otherwise, I don't believe any changes have been made on our end.
The IP range that Method uses are in the range 72.32.228.2** as the IPs below (which are our 3 servers).
Web1: 72.32.228.236
Web2: 72.32.228.237
Web3: 72.32.228.234
Kindly take a look at this forum post for more ...

Adam, that was the problem! I had put our company name into the "from" field and my name into the "from name" field... I guess I assumed that since our email address is set up in the email preferences, it would automatically use that as the sender and just wanted the company name and sender name in those fields. ...
