"Delayed charges" is a feature we use on QuickBooks Online. This enables us to have techs put in "charges", similar to the time tracking charges, and for us to send out bills once a month with all the charges that have accumulated.

Currently there is no means to change the "Please wait" screen. I will put in a suggestion for this but I cannot give you an ETA of if or when it will be added.

All you need to do to add the field is make sure "Add a new field" is selected give the field a name and make sure the approriate field type is selected, in your case Text should work and then click Add Field.

For more detailed instructions it would have to be through consulting time but I will break it down a bit further.
Look for the actions that are merging the Body of the email and do the following:
Add the Date Function action to take the date (Value from row) and format it to be a different format (One without a time)
Add the Character ...

I noticed something weird this weekend regarding Screen options.
When you open a Screen for editing and hit the Advanced... button, if you have your screen set to display in sections (rather than tabs), the 'Show First Section To Left of Screen' option is reset to 'not selected' each time you open this Advanced... screen.
