the problem is that i don't have an Activities tab. i had copied it to edit it, so I had an Activities tab and my own customized Activities tab. it seemed confusing, so I deleted the Activities tab and it's components. seems like it got rid of all those fields too? how do i get that tab back?

Try exporting the AuditTrail table using the Import/Export tool.

Try this:
Click Customize > Tabs.
Scroll down to the Activities tab and click Edit tab links on the right.
Make sure you have a Tab link named Edit Activity and that it is pointing to the CRM_NewActivity screen( or CRMQBO_New Activity screen if using QBO) .
Click Finished ...

I was able to duplicate this issue with some addresses. I have put in a suggestion to update the way the address to map is built. If or when this change gets made to the standard screens I will update this forum post but currently I have an ETA on this.

It came from the account email address, not any particular user at 10PM, when no one employed at this company was logged on. I did just supply the portal log in information for this particular customer at 6:30PM last night, which is why I thought it was caused in the portal + the timing. I don't think that email gets sent out from our standard portal. That email could have been sent out if someone created an activity and choose to 'Send Email' and selected the Overdue balance reminder template.
