Try editing the screen and clicking Publish to republish it and then test it again.

There use to be options that showed up when i pressed the More actions button. Now they are missing. After looking around my created froms, buttons that had options when pressed are all missing now.

Yes, I was using Chrome. Firefox is better.

That was it - the occurrences were deleted but the series record was not. If I have a series work order with 3 occurrences, should I be deleting all 3 occurrences and the series record (i.e. 4 deletions) or will deleting just the series record delete the occurrences associated with it?

Do you happen to be using Chrome? We came across an issue where dragging fields was not working as it should when customizing screens in certain situations, using IE or Firefox should get you around this issue while our dev.team works to resolve this.
If you are not using Chrome can you give us some more details?

Another possible scenario is that if you may have deleted an occurance instead of the series or you deleted the series but the already modified occurances were left behind.(The RecurrenceType field will display the type of Work Order)
The only other thing I can suggest is scheduling some paid consulting time to go over this.
