This feature only works with the New CRM screens, and is built into the Grid and Drop down filters. You could install the new CRM and reverse engineer the filters on the new screens and apply them to the old screens.

We're not using the New CRM and yes we're using customized screens (copy of original, translated to brazilian portuguese).
