Sales Orders are currently not available in QBO. The screen
exists in Method but it is most likely there for when Sales Orders do become available (It is hidden by default).
The particular issue you are having was addressed on the QuickBooks Desktop
version of the Sales Order screen.

That means if I hide if from the layout now and only use QB Online to save the data for that field, when they allow syncing of that field, it'll come over to Method and I can open it up on the layout at that time?

mlepitt - we're waiting for Intuit to add that field for us to sync with. Right now it is shut off from developers for QB Online (no problem with QB desktop, though) - that's why we don't have it in the out of the box versions of the customer screen.

It appears that the ResaleNumber does not sync with Quickbooks (in the Customer table)? I am pretty sure it was not a custom field I made as it is not editable. Are you using a customized screen or is it the orginal screen? If its the orginal screen can you enable MethodSupport (Customize > Users ) and email me your account name.

Thank you, that took care of it. During evaluation I had been signing into both separately, not realizing I had to get into Method via Quickbooks Online to maintain the link.

Saving Sales Order Results in "Customer is a requried field. Please enter a value". I have clearly selected a valid customer from the database and yet I get that error message. As a result I cannot update the order. Any ideas what can cause this?
