Matt – yes, that is accurate. It can still function but when you get to invoicing QB really needs to be up and running for Pro Services.

Michael - My understanding is that in order to create a PO, you need to select a vendor, not a customer.  So, in order to do the proposed method, I would have to create a second instance of every customer as also a vendor?  Or can you merge and link them in Method so you have one entry viewed as vendor OR customer which will then sync ...

Michael - I am referring to importing sales order, Invoices, credit memos, journals etc which Quickbooks handles.  So this is outside of Method, but I wanted to know if you had feedback from other users as to what they used. Emily

mlepitt, What exactly are you looking to import from QBO into Method? Method should take care of all the importing(Syncing) if there is something that doesn't sync there is a good chance the QBO sdk doesn't allow for it to be accessed. -Michael

Hey Val, Thanks for the update, it sounds like the key here is that QB needs to be open and the sync engine running for Pro Services to perform as expected. Is that an accurate evaluation?

Hey Val, I'm not sure if you did anything with this or not, if you did thank you. If not, then it would appear that having Quickbooks open while creating the invoice solves the problem.

Do you have any recommended import utilities for QB Online for tables that Method does not sync between the two?  You have import capabilities, but if I wanted to import additional transactions, have you had any feedback from other customers as to what they used and found to be the best?

Nudge has been given........I'll let you know what I hear back.  They made a big release on August 4th and are building at a rapid pace over there, lots of focus on QB Online.....so I have my fingers crossed. Paul

mlepitt, Sales Orders are currently not available in QBO. The screen exists in Method but it is most likely there for when Sales Orders do become available (It is hidden by default). The particular issue you are having was addressed on the QuickBooks Desktop version of the Sales Order screen. -Michael
