I'm still foggy on this one, so I'm not sure that it helps everyone.  Me and another user stared at it for a while and couldn't figure it out. Although we can see some fields are different we couldn't figure out when to use an appointment, when to use a task and when to use an activity . . . they all sound so similar.  ...

Michael, Thanks for the clarification... I'm not sure what happened the first time, but it would only let me log into one of my portals.  Looks like we will move to using a custom user table versus the Entity table to keep the logins under lock and key. Best, Kevin

pdirect- When creating or editing an opportunity click on ... for Stage. You will see a new drop down for Opportunity Stage Category, here you can set what Stages are 'Closed' stages.  

pdirect- The screens are very similair but have different fields and different default values on loading the screens. For example the Log Call screen does not display Due Ending and has a default status of Completed.

csmp- Registering the proper way should allow that user access to all the portals based on the table the portal is created off of. So if you have 2 portals both off entity if a user registers for one should be able to login to the other, there is no special flag. After upgrading to the most recent version of Method, the opportunities list is showing won and lost opportunities even when a user selects "My Opportunities in Pipeline". In the previous version, Method would only show opportunities that were not set to a stage with the word "closed" in it.  Now it is including ...

After upgrading Method, the activities tab now has 3 tab links that seem to be the same thing.  Can you please clarify what the difference is between a "New Activity", "New Appointment" and "New Task"?
