just created a new customer and invoice for that customer in qb online but it is not showing up in Method. is there something that I am not doing correctly?
Have you initiated a sync yet? There's a green/blue arrow near your username which will sync the record over. We look for changes ...

Hi Chris,
The Method Sync Engine must be installed alongside every installation of QB that you use, as that is how Method detects changes on that particular QB machine.
First, ensure that you have the Method sync engine installed (by going to Start -> All Progorams -> Method) on that particular machine. If it is, verify that the sync ...

Michael,
Please provide add'l detail about your comment below so I can answer my clients questions:

Hi David,
I wanted to add a little more details on what may have happened here. The message you see in the conflicts area can be broken down and explained a bit further. Please keep in mind that these conflict messages come directly from QuickBooks and not Method.

There is ...
Will a full sync only sync when method knows there was changes?
If a full sync is already running then Method won't trigger another (even if you press the button). A full sync can be run even if there are no changes it just runs a little quicker since there's nothing to ...

Thanks Paul, good to know. But it seems a bit counter-intuitive to hide the sync settings until after you've already done a sync! I'm glad that I was able to find them. I'd prefer that you have a "Show Sync Settings" link on that page right from the start. For this client the primary issue is that we ...

Hi eshep,
Make sure that you are adding the appointment to the correct calendar in your Google calendar account. You can change the calendar by selecting the Edit Event >> on the desktop version of Google calendar. If you’re doing this from a mobile app, there should be a way to specify the calendar from within the app. The Method ...

Hi Brian,
There's no one-way-only sync available as that would defeat the purposed of our Sync Engine. You can, however, prevent most transactions from being synced over to QuickBooks by utilizing the Wait For Sync Approval? option. For other types of records you would not want to be modified and synced from Method, you can edit your ...
