• Re: Creating lead

Hi Gurdeep. Customers & Leads are stored in the same Customer table, and it is more of a master table. Contacts are more of a child table. So, in other words, a Customer or Lead could have multiple contacts associated with them. When you create a customer or lead it automatically creates a single Contact with it. Best ...

  • Re: Payment postback

Aswin - I suggest (as a best practice that will save you lots of time!) to first try putting through a couple of payments, manually, via the Method web app. That way you see the field values the UI is expecting, which should match the field values the API would also be expecting.

  • Re: Payment postback

AswinChepuri - the response is a little confusing. The "Ref" referrs to the "Customer" field is a reference to a lookup in another table. It would be more intuitive if the message really said something along the lines of "Not all required fields are present. Required lookup field Customer is not passed for ...

  • Re: Method API Call Failing: MethodAPIActionSendEmailV3

Hey Blake - the servers were updated with a security patch, and for some reason this seemingly has affected nothing except for that one API endpoint. We're going to look into it in Monday when everyone is back in the office. But in the meantime we have rolled back the security patch, and will reapply it next week. In the ...

  • Re: Date not properly stored in method.me table

Hi whitebuck. Welcome to Method! Dates are stored in Method in UTC time (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time). The UI converts the UTC time to your local time when displaying, and converts local time to UTC when saving. That way the time is accurate to the viewer regardless of where they are around the world. So, when ...
