Jonathan I did try to insert the recordid as the value and i got an error message "51" is not a possible value.  "51" is the recordid.

Joanthan Can you describe how to specify a dropdown's recordid instead of the value when inserting a new record through API.  I've tried to set the value of the field ###_RecordID but get a reponse that this field doesn't support "edit".   What should we use as the field name to set the recordid?

This is multi-tenant. I'm inserting invoices through API.  API Insert Invoice and insert InvoiceLine(s) works fine.  Everything appears to be correct when viewed on method screen. Furry one possible solution is to flatten the table by adding the fields as method "linked fields".  this has worked well for us.

Will there be a way to post, get, put... to a rest api or will we continue to be limited to consuming a soap service?

The description column on Invoice, Estimate, Sales Reciept, etc has stopped populating.  This was reported to us from several customers and is happening in our company accounts.  Please advise.

furrywombat do you have any benchmarks for elapsed time to do an insert?  over the last 2 days it's taking  ~11 seconds per insert, the table I'm inserting into only has 12 fields.   is this normal?
