I am trying to autopopulate the "Contact Name*" field (the Name field) on my "New Contact" screen with the company name based on selecting "Main Account" as an option in the Job Type dropdown.
First, I tried to use various fields from the screen and none of them are populated in the Contact Name* field. There is ...

Also, since there was already a Name field in the Customer table, I just named the linked field "JobTypeName". That's what I was supposed to do, right?

Yes, that worked - thanks. I didn't realize it was the Job Type field from the Customer table. I was looking at the Job Type table only.

The standard "Mobile Users" tab group still exists. Do I need to delete this? Uncheck "Show" for all the screens in it?
Each group (A or B) has 3 common ...

The drop-down box that contains the various tabs to select in the mobile environment contains 2 copies of each tab for managers (and above). Is there any way to get rid of this? I checked the roles assigned to one of the managers, for example, (using "Customize>>Users") and "Manager" and "Staff" were ...

In QB item list, there is no tax item applied to the group. Also in the item list, each item has a "G" tax code (GST only). However, when I select the group for an invoice in QB, the grouped item name is shown, and then the items are shown with the correct tax code for the customer (in this case, "H").
In Method, the group ...
