Hello I am new to this so here we go all the way from the UK
I would like the sales representatives who now all have their own sign on to see their total sales by customer within a month and then cumulative? Can this be done and can I add a budget so they too can see how they are performing?

Hi Monica,
I tried adding a custom field to my Item Receipt in QuickBooks to see if it would come over to Method but I can't find the location where I can add custom fields to item receipts in QuickBooks.
One option in Method is to add a linked field to the ItemReceiptLineItem table that links the custom fields using the Item.

It's an Item Receipt (as in receiving inventory), not a sales receipt. When I look at the Items table, it's there. When I edit the item grid in the Item Rec't, my custom field is not an option. Hey John,
I haven't heard this from anyone else but I will bring this up for discussion in our next Method meeting. An easy fix for you would be to customize the screen and replace the existing PDF icon(Picture Object) with a different image maybe a copy of the icon with some text added to it.

If you add a custom field to your QuickBooks items it should come over to Method. You can verify this by going to Customize > Tables / Fields and editing the Item table.
