I am working on my first import file and would like to import the data with the sales rep in one of the import fields. I found the SalesRep field and noticed that right next to iit in the list are two likely related fields, SalesRep_RecordID and SalesRepRecordID. Method is integrated and syncing with our Quickbooks Desktop database. Can I ...

Hello Dave,
I am going to assume your current customer database is in another CRM and you are transfering the data into Method? If you use your opportunities in your daily workflow or it is how you keep track of acitivities dealing with customers, then I would import the opportunities. There would be an order in which you ...

JPHenke,
Thank you for your post.
There are a few avenues you can go down to resolve both these issues.
Deleting User:
Deleting a user cannot be done in Method. Once a user is logged into the audit trail (ie. they update a record in Method), then they cannot be deleted. They only can be made ...

And when ...

Hi Eliza,
Unfortunately, there's no way to accomplish this through the Gadget. The only way to batch-add emails to Method would be to import them using our Import / Export tool. You would have to enter the information into a CSV file in Excel (cut & paste the body of the emails in) and import it through there.

I am referring to importing sales order, Invoices, credit memos, journals etc which Quickbooks handles. So this is outside of Method, but I wanted to know if you had feedback from other users as to what they used.

Are you setting a value for the Entity field in the Contact table? As long as you do this, it should show up for that customer.
Are you using the API for this, or the Import/Export tool?
I just tried it with Import / Export and was able to import from the clipboard a contact for Natalie Chapman (not sure how the copy and paste ...

Ok then 2 pieces of feedback: For the developer this makes sense,
but for the end user, they will need more customizable options for resetting
their method database account. It is my experience that many times when
multiple errors are encountered, being data damage (I’ll post for this at a
later time) ...
