Michael,
Thanks for the reply. How do I get the "generate report" action to only display one invoice for the specific customer? right now it generates a report of all open invoices. What filter do I need to set so that only the current customer's invoice is generated?
Thanks,
Matt

Bryan,
I'm not exactly sure what's causing this yet but the next time you find an item with this issue before fixing it can you make note of the item and export your items list and email it to me along with the name of the items that caused the issue.

You are correct. It worked on the item with the # character in it too.
So, what would be causing this? Am I doing something to cause this issue?
Thanks for the quick help!

Hi Michael,
Looks like I found more. These two items have the # sign in the description, so it looks like it doesn't like that character either.
Is there a list of characters or rules for QB descriptions you can give me so I can watch out for these? Or will you just correct it on your end each time?

Bryan,
I was able to add the item to an estimate, can you try it again? The only thing that I may have done differently then you was before I tried to add the item I just checked to makes sure it was set up properly under Home > Items which it was and then clicked Save & Close. If this happens again try going to the Item and ...

FYI, I changed the single quotes to double quotes on that selectaflo item and that did the trick.

Well, I just found another one. This one doesn't have the single quote issue you pointed out. This one is called cartridge 105. No quotes at all in this one.
Any ideas? It's getting kind of hard to create quotes.

Bryan,
The issue seems to be with the Item name. It looks like the item name has 2 consecutive single quotes [‘'] which seems to be causing this issue. Is there a reason why you don't use double quotes ["]? I will be logging a ticket for this issue and update this thread when I have more information.
