Hi Mark,
Thanks very much for trying to solve this one.
We are trying to write emails from the activities tab under opportunities under the sales center. We create a sales opportunity, then create activities under those opportunities and finally want to send emails from that activity to our potential clients.

Can anybody tell me how to attach a document to an email sent in Method? Which screen you use? I used email in customer section. There is no icon to attach document that I can find.

Hi
Can you describe how and where (in method) you're sending the emails? Which Screens?

Chart of accounts and $ balances come from QB, so in this case Option 1 is correct. Method simply displays the data it pulls from QB.

"LineTotal" is a re-label/badging of the default "Amount" column.
I have made no modifications to the default tables.

Hello,
Could you kindly confirm where in the estimates table do you have LineTotal field. This field is not part of the Method default estimate table, or perhaps you renamed the label of the TotalAmount field.
In order to see which fields are listed in the Estimate screen, go to customize -> Tables/Fields -> estimate table, hit Edit ...

Hi Brian,
actually, this might work: http://lifehacker.com/111166/how-to-use-gmail-as-your-smtp-server
Try the solution explained in "Update 3"
Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks!
