Below is a version of ‘A night before Christmas’ that Dave, Method developer sent around internally today. It was so good that we had to share it to the full Method community. Excuse the many inside jokes!

Hey Matt,
I wanted to give you an update that we have resolved the 404 issue you were getting sporadically.
One of the webservers was not playing nice, however, you shouldnt see the likes of it again.

I started writing this blog post early last week. At the time, I was just writing about some new user interface ("UI") features that came out. But when I wrote the line "we haven't actually redesigned any screens - yet - but at least now we can." I woke up - it is certainly not in the holiday ...

Just wanted to add some notes regarding setting up Email and Method.
As we have numerous clients with Exchange, we have a very simple model for integration with Exchange. As per the diagram attached, Method simply tries to send mail to your Exchange server using basic authentication settings. If your Exchange box is configured as a closed relay ...

Hey everyone - when you sign into Method today you should see a new Receive Payment screen (under the Customer Center), which uses Payment Gateways to process credit cards, plus some new user interface features.

Web3: 72.32.228.234
If this does not work, you can also try the IP address 67.192.223.114. Please note that our default port is 465, which is the standard common industry port for ...

Therefore, I have to configure it to allow your software to relay email. In doing this, we need to lock it down to a specific IP address or a block of ...

Hi Denis,
thank you for the quick response.
So, you are saying that method works with default exchange settings, so that means as long as the correct mail server, username and password are entered, then it should connect. Problem is it does not. (And yes, we do require SSL and I have that turned on.)
So, that tells me that I would ...

Hello Method Team,
It would be great if you set up a bug tracker so I didn't have to flood the forum with bug reports.
Here's the setup:
Screen: Sales Order
We mark our credit card payments by placing a negative "Payment" item in our sales orders. The same effect couldl be had by marking a discount for free merchandise.
Bug: ...

Hi handcrafted,
Method is capable of working with Microsoft Exchange setups, we in fact use it as well internally. However, I suggest you look into a) whether or not the "Use SSL" checkbox is checked and b) whether your mail administrator has explicitly specified IPs and ports allowed to send mail from outside sources. At present, ...
