I just wanted to update you on my findings. It looks like FireFox is not supported for our mobile site. If you want to test out your mobile screens on a pc, its recommended that you use IE 8.0.
We may support FireFox in the future, we will have a blog posting about it when it's ready.

I tried using the Filter String and it appeared to work fine. I was able to see all opportunities that match the 2 criteria for Opportunity stage and Close Date.

We've looked into the issue of MethodAPIUpdateV2 failing to update DateTime fields with null values, we've appled a fix and the problem should now be resolved.

Hi Richard,
Currently the only way to extend the calendar hours is by editing the screen, and modifying the calendar preferences in step 1.
I'll look into the possibility of having a work around, without modifying the screen and let you know what I find.
