Ryan told me how to do this and I cannot remember. I am trying to get rid of all (or most) of the search boxes and just use column headings. I recall that it had something to do with customizing something called "entity" and it was relatively convoluted. How do I find this again?

Thank you, Paul, for the useful information and pointing us in the right direction. We have a client- brand new user and our first Method client- that has to e-mail Estimates immediately after receiving the phone order and wants to e-mail the Estimate or Invoice, and attach a PDF of the details of what the customer is ordering. I just ...

Just to add to Ryan's post. This is not a *Standard* feature in Method's invoice screen. It is something you can pretty easily add yourself, though, via customization. Method does support creating and emailing PDFs - we just haven't made it standard on the invoice screen yet.

Hey Kelly,
This is something that currently cannot be done in Method. We do have the checkbox "To be emailed" because this is the same field you would see in QuickBooks. If you use this field, then you can go into QuickBooks and send all your invoices/estimates as a batch.

Hi Dave,
We've looked into this and we made some changes to make custom fields more useable. Just to give you a technical bit of insight from the back end side of things:

That is when I ...

Hello everyone,
We have looked at the webinars but haven't seen anything about emailing invoices. I have just seen the email templates and integration with Outlook.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
I need more details on the steps you took when trying to send the email. What screen were you working in? What steps you took? What button you clicked? I’ve included a post below as a reference for default email preferences.

When setting up default email preferences ...

Greetings,
I created numerous customer fields in my custom screen. I was a bit hurried and would like to convert some of the field types, i.e., from "text" to a calendar or text to "yes/no." I thought I messed up by having added the field to the wrong table (i.e., the default but not my custom screen). No matter where I ...

Thanks James - glad to hear it worked.
Sounds like you know a bit of coding, and can feel some of our pain :).
