Hi there, Are you currently doing this in QuickBooks and if so how? Can you elaborate on how you calculate shipping now? Keep in mind that the Estimate to Sales Order conversion is not something that is supported by Intuit’s SDK. What’s actually happening here is Method’s mimic of this process via Method actions.

Hey Bill, The first step when using the Outlook Plug-In is to search for the client, of course if this is  new lead, you won’t find them. That is when you can select the "New Contact / Lead / Customer / Vendor.." button located in the top right section of the search screen. You can choose to enter in leads, customers, ...

I found the plug-in and installed it with no problems.   I can select an email from a known customer and create a note for the user - very nice.   But I selected a new email from a potential customer - a contact if you will.  I tried adding it but it first wanted me to find an existing customer/contact/etc.   Is ...

So I have customer who didn't want to purchase from the website, insists that I generate a quote which I did.  Then they call back and want to place the order in person and gives me the CC info.   So I go into Method and find the ability to turn the quote into the sales order.  Nice.  But now I have to calculate shipping ...

As a new user, I'm finding it difficult to find things.  I notice these posts about the Outlook plugin being available, but could you please put a link in your messages helping folks to go and get it?

we have multiple QB files. Is there anything that prevents the synch engine from synchronizing the a method database with a non-corresponding QB file?
