Method Community

Hi!  I am creating a new screen from a table that only has 3 fields.  One of those fields will be edited OFTEN for each record.  I am trying to create the screen to have a grid that shows the 3 fields, and allows the user to edit the 'evolving' field within the grid. Is this possible? Thanks for you input!  

The answer to the email issue is this: With method the email entry on settings is not the same as your email settings on outlook You just need any email smtp server - I used a gmail address This is used to send the email. Your individual email addrsses are set within the account and are mimicked by whatever smtp server that you use  

Bob - Just opening the invoice wouldn't cause that, but anything that issues a Save action would, such as clicking the Save button, or choosing a customer from the dropdown list. Unless you've customized that screen and put extra actions on the select link that cause the screen to save (wouldn't make sense). Looks like that ...

 Hey Bill, Just a quick addition, if you are currently not using the "Ship To" portion of the address section, you can manually fill this in with the Job Location information. If you are using those fields already, then you would need to customize the screen with new fields.

 Hey Bill, It sounds like you want to add a few more fields to display the address of the job site. To do this add some fields to the Estimates Table and then customize your Estimates Screen to include those new fields. You should check out our webinar on Tables & Fields for more help.
