Go to customize screen for Field Service_Customers
Under additional information click edit lead status
On the opening page you can check or uncheck default for lead status

This seems basic but I don't know the answer - can I set permissions so that people can see some records, and not others?
For example, each lawyer can see their clients, but no one else's.
Or some people can write to a record, other people can only read it? And can I do this on a custom table?

I am trying to find the proper screen to customize so that all of my new customers default to "Is Lead Status Only" and do not show up in QBooks.

One last thing that I wanted to mention was that I noticed in your ISP's documentation that they require "SSL" for email SMTP connections. This isn't an option for our SMTP so if this is required, might explain why it isn't working for you. My suggestion is to do the Gmail route. Not to mention, ...

I took a quick look at your ISP providers website to see how they require your username to be entered in and it looks like you're correct in using the full address for the username.
That being said, if your password is entered in correctly and there are no typos, it might be that your mail provider doesn't support emails ...
