 Go to customize screen for Field Service_Customers Under additional information click edit lead status On the opening page you can check or uncheck default for lead status

This seems basic but I don't know the answer - can I set permissions so that people can see some records, and not others? For example, each lawyer can see their clients, but no one else's. Or some people can write to a record, other people can only read it? And can I do this on a custom table?   Thanks

Kevin, One last thing that I wanted to mention was that I noticed in your ISP's documentation that they require "SSL" for email SMTP connections.  This isn't an option for our SMTP so if this is required, might explain why it isn't working for you.  My suggestion is to do the Gmail route.  Not to mention, ...
