• Generating Custom Reports

i am just learning about how to use the Report Designer by watching the videos. Can someone help me to understand about filtering? Say I want an Activity report to only include certain "status" items for one certain "assignee", I see that I can filter the custom report from within Method, is that the only way to do ...

Hi Ben, Thanks for the reply. We have tried doing work orders on iPads, tablets and chromebooks in the past with only poor results. The iPad is not happy doing them even on WiFi. I wouldn't even attempt to do one on a phone because of the size of a work order. And the "mobile" version of Method Classic ...

Hi there Maureen, I cant personally say what device the would be 'Best' for field work, but any newer generation Phone or Tablet (with SIM card/Data Plan) should give you no grief! Perhaps you could swing by a BestBuy (or any electronics retailer that has demo models) to test out how Method Looks on various devices? Maybe ...

  • Re: Quickbooks manually closing sales orders?

Hi FurryWombat, You got it. The IsFullyInvoiced, and IsManuallyCosed fields cannot both be TRUE simultaneously. IsFullyInvoiced is conditional on the fact that every line of the transaction has been invoiced. So if you have a Sales Order with 2 line items for example, and fully invoice both line items (at which point the SalesOrder ...

  • Re: Quickbooks manually closing sales orders?

Ben, That's a solid answer if I've ever seen one. Thanks! So, if it's fully invoiced, the IsFullyInvoiced boolean will be TRUE, and IsManuallyClosed will be false, because the two cannot coexist. So the ONLY way we would get this message would be in a scenario where a sales order is already fully invoiced, or zeroed out, synced to QB, ...

  • Re: Quickbooks manually closing sales orders?

Hi FurryWombat, Short answer - Yes, QuickBooks closes fully Invoiced Sales Orders. On the QuickBooks side, A Sales Order being 'Closed' and 'Fully Invoiced' are seen as two different statuses both ultimately representing the Sales Order in Non-Open status. For example, if you create a sales Order in ...

Hi furrywombat, This is something we plan to look at in the future, but as I understand, it's a very large task. As such, I can't yet give you a timeline for when this will be available or what it will look like when it is. Sorry for the inconvenience. --Audisho

Hi Justin, Sounds like most of what you are doing sounds correct, but I have an idea what might be going wrong here. How are you actually adding the dropdown object to the screen in question? It sounds like you are adding a generic Dropdown, and configuring it to reference your 'Customer Discount' field. If ...
