I am suggesting that the use of projects and phases just stay on the Method side. Right now, if you set up a project in Method it becomes a job on the QuickBooks side.
Unfortunately, we have list limitations in Quickbooks.
If I create a project for my team to work on, I don't want it to show up as a job in ...

Hi,
Let’s see if I can help get things moving. When you added the new project what Contact Type did you specify? The example I used in my Tutorial was a Fixed contract. If I were to use Hourly as an example, it would not update the Contact Amount because it’s unlikely there was actual time / Charge Qty entered at the time the ...

I'm afraid I am off to a bad start with this Beta. I decided to walk through the Tutorial in the Quick Start Guide using as a sample a project I just started working on. I entered a new project in step 2 and input "3" as an Est Qty, $75 as a rate, and when I clicked "Update" nothing happened. ...

I logged in just now and it seemed fine from the Eastern time zone. I also tried logging into a computer on Central time and it seemed fine too.
I think you are on to something with the daylight savings time, though. Perhaps what happened was that the servers are in Central time and ...

All calendar entries are displaying one hour earlier than time listed on activities, i.e., my scheduled 9Am appt. is showing as a 8am appt.on the calendar.
I think this just started today, without any changes to Method screens, etc.. Well, presumably so, that is!
Tried unchecking DST, logging out, back in. No difference.

Ryan,
QB was open during these events, so I'm not sure why it was happening. Especially the invoice that would not ever populate the invoice number or customer info.
I've since created a few more invoices from workorders. Some were existing customers, others were Lead Status customers. None will populate the invoice number or ...

Thanks, Ryan...
I'll keep digging on the Character Function, and let you know if I need help.
Do you want me to email you directly with my image-embedding process, or post it here?
Thanks for the file attachment guidance. I'll give it a try.

Hey Richard,
This sounds like a case of QB not being open. Let me explain what is going on.
In method by default if you do not enter an invoice #, it will wait for QB to assign one. So once you hit save, the invoice syncs with QB. It then gets the assigned Invoice #. What is going on is when you switch to another user and then ...
