Yeah, I like your suggestion of using the opportunities screen to track this. I've been using Opportunities for all calls, etc., and it's working pretty well. Will I be able to link the vendor portal, so the referers can see status of jobs they've referred?
I'm comping the screen and flowcharts now and will probably log ...

2) Site of treatment: 12 possible choices (baseboards, bedding, cabinets, etc)
3) Method of treatment: 16 possible choices (aerosol, fumigation, injector, granulate, spot treatment, etc)
so you suggest 44 blank labels? ...

I have been entering my time into Method but I have noticed that there are some serice items that aren't coming into Method from QuickBooks. The time entries that were entered into QuickBooks using that service item show up in Method though. I have a feeling there are more then just that one that I use that isn't coming ...

Hey,
Why not toss some blank labels into the work order that the tech can place a checkmark beside? If you want a box for them to place it in, use a text field. When customizing keep in mind that you can only place 15 rows in a section. So you will need to organize your checklist so it all fits.

After reading over both posts, I thought of using the Opportunities screen to track all of this. Create a opportunity for each sale, Here you can document the lead,(we can add more fields for this as well) then you can link the invoice to the opportunity to keep track of what invoices are from what referrer.

I am trying to add a "grid of static text" to a form.
I am not interested in linking the grid to any activity or action, i am only trying to create a "field tech checklist"
that is manually marked... (4 columns, 15 rows)... to appear on all work orders.
