Hi Ryan,
OK, I’ve spent the afternoon listening to the remaining webinars that I think would help me get started in Method Warehouse. I am now at a point where I feel overloaded with info that will be of no use to me until I can get my inventory numbers correct.
I’ve also read several sections of the Method Warehouse Quick ...

Hi peoples =) ..
1) "..I haven't been able to figure out how that table grabs the description, item, etc. from QB.."
The link between method and quickbooks is the method engine installed on your machine. There are fields in the pre-made method tables that correspond with a field of the same name in quickbooks. The integration ...

Ryan - Thanks for your reply.
I wanted to create a different screen and report that used many of the same fields as the EstimateLine table.
I haven't been able to figure out how that table grabs the description, item, etc. from QB. So, I was going to copy the table, delete a few fields, and create some new ones.

Hey Jacob.
Currently you cannot copy a table. Did you mean screen? If so then go into the Customize tab and click on the screens tab link, at the bottom of the list you will see "copy/import screen"
If you want to copy the table, explain why you would want to and maybe we can come up with something that helps you.

First off i'd like to point out that no company is going to run harmful programs on their own machines. And if they wanted to do so, they wouldnt need method to accomplish the task.
Second, if the primary concern is customers / clients accessing our account through the customer ...

Soooo if the recordId never changes .. what happens when more records have been created over the years than possible to store in a 32 (or possibley 64 bit) value... though even 32 bit will hold up to around 4 billion in a single register, an ongoing program will eventually blow through this with daily use, if deleted recordId's can never be ...

Hi Joe,
The record ID for a table serves as a unique identifier for that particular record and cannot be reused. Think of the record ID as a permanently bound unique ID for a newly added record.
Newly added records will always have a record ID of the last record ID generated incremented by 1. Deleting a record will permanently remove the record ...

Hi Val.
Nothing already in method really supports the "timer" effect for actions.
I've got a number of things i could use it for.
The simplest thing would be to have a timer set before something like a ShowMessage ... in case you wanted to recieve a message on your screen after you've been working for 45 minutes to ...
