From what I understand, you need to have some customers move from 1 type to another. You can change the type for those customers.
OR
If you need them to be viewed on both lists, you can create another customer type for these users, and then add those customer types to the filter views criteria.

If "Lead Status Only" is checked when you enter a new Lead that means that Customer (Lead) entry wouldn't go over to QuickBooks unless a transaction is performed (sent to QuickBooks) or the checkbox is manually unchecked.

Hi,
I think you are referring to the grid views that are currently on the Existing Customers grid. These ‘views’ do not actually copy customers but instead filter the list to show only those that meet filtering options applied.

In regards to wanting to set up your own types:
The Type field is really the CustomerType and is based off the CustomerType table, editable on screen: 'Customer Type'.
If want more types to be available than what is already there, you will need to view the screen -> Customer Type.
