Hey Phillip,
I've looked into this and I found out that this is a QuickBooks report. Method cannot edit this date format. I would check to see if you can set date preferences in QuickBooks, this may allow you to change the date format. If the report was made from the Method Report Designer, we could format that text.
Sorry I ...

Hi.
It seems when customizing a page with new fields/objects, these new f/o's are identified in properties and in dropdowns by only their captions. This makes it very difficult to tell the difference between:
1) an object and field both named "myName"
2) multiple objects named "myName"
example: Company's Bill To ...

Hey Phillip,
Currently in Method, a pay bills screen does not exist. A screen could be built to do this, but it would be a decent sized customization. The tables you should use to create this screen are;
BillPaymentCheck, BillPaymentCheckAppliedToTxn
Writing Checks is not the same thing as paying bills in QuickBooks. In QuickBooks ...

Hey Phil -
Sounds like a fun project. I think there is an opportunity here to actually be more efficient than QB, since you can create a custom calcuator for their unique business needs - just might require some creativity. I know you are going to get to the point where the popup gets the value and you want to put it on the ...

Paul - the typo appears to be in the response message, rather than the parameter, so the API docs are correct. It is arrInsertFieldsArray, not arrInsertFieldArray. I'll forward your findings on - thank you.
In terms of the Customer, yes, the only required field is Name. You are absolutely correct. Seems like you are ...

Hello,
I'm currently working on using the API to create some new customers and I'm getting a strange error message. It reads (PHP syntax):
[MethodAPIInsertResult] => A blank field name was entered in the arrInsertFieldArray. Please verify there are no empty items in the arrInsertFieldArray.
In reading the API version 1.1 document it ...

We're really in a situation where no two cuts are the same. So hard-coding the length and width won't work.
However, I was thinking through the pop up screen idea earlier and tend to prefer that.
Unless of course the Method folks decided to just put a calculator in there! :)
Thanks very much for the help on this and the ...
