Okay, here's where I'm at now.
The save button pulls from the receive pymts table / unused pymts field. There is nothing in that field for it to pull into the screen.
So it throws the error.

I recently upgraded to QB 2009. I added the method. When connected to the integration engine the Sales Orders duplicate by themself. I have deleted up to 200 sales order copies PER sales order. Things weren't showing up in Method so I went and looked at the QB server and QB was running fine and when I pulled up the Method Integration Engine down by the clock that is what was in the log on the screen. It was reapeted about 6 times over the last day that I looked.

Thanks for your help on this! I'm still a little bit at a loss here. I've removed the actions that display the stop message in three places: 1) the pay selected invoices 2) save button 3) save/new button

It is better to use the MethodApiAppointment_InsertDate call as you only have to worry about the Series record id and the start and stop times of the service. All the other information, such as Recurrence Type, is handled for you.
The MethodApiAppointment_CopySeries call helps so you don't have to regenerate the recurrence ...
