Method Community

We have multiple QB companies with seprate company files. I have one QB file currently synched and would like to load a seperate QB file. What would be a best practice for using Method to access those companies separately.

I went to shut down my QuickBooks - said I could not close QB because 3rd party application was still logged in - method integration - so I clicked on "Shut down' on the Method icon and it went away.  I ran a backup - sais I needed to run a rebuild - and strated that - but it wanted to close QB andrestart - and again received the ...

After using Method for 20 minutes or so I ruitinely need to shut IE down and re-open it. IE memory usage skyrockets and the system becomes unsable. Once I shut IE and reopen it Method works fine. This only happens with Method.  Jacob

Hey Pat - sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  We looked into it, and you are correct, the inventory adjustments did not update the Quanity On Hand in method.  Similarily, making an inventory adjustment in QuickBooks directly would not update the Quantity On Hand in Method.  Furthermore, sales orders, invoices, bills, etc, ...

Kevin - one thing I'll add to this is that you should read the "what is... / help on this screen" on each of the pages (Cases, Activities, Solutions, Campaigns and Opportunities) as they'll help explain what each of the areas is for.

Kevin - you can change that preference under Customize > My Account.  In there you can tone down the security restrictions on passwords so that they don't have to contain a special character.  It is advised, however, that you do keep at least one special character.
