After a bit of jiggery pokery I have worked this out. Change the Page Break behaviour setting on the first Detail section of the report to: Before The Band. This ensure only one band and band detail per page.

Hi Please can anyone shed any light on this.  I have a hack which is to add my required fields from the SalesOrder as linked fields on my child table, but it doesn't seem a very elegant solution! Any guidance/pointers appreciated. Rick

The Sales Order table requires the Customer and TxnDate fields - have you supplied these in your original call?
