Hi,
we stopped using QB because we do not need it for payroll or any accounting issues. Unfortunately, it seems that adding a new employee directly in Method is not allowed. I though we could use just the User table but we have been using the Employee table to assign other things to each person and I do not know if I can redo the whole thing. Is ...

We have done a good deal of customization to our screens and worked with grids, but this is the first time I'm messing around with grid filtering.
I want to display only certain records in a grid - specifically any InvoiceLine row that beings with "Inventory" OR begins with "Misc".
It works beautifully when I add the ...

Hello,
I have a customized table on our homepage dashboard which shows open cases. I have customized the Interal Comments field using the following SQL statement:
'<b>' + ISNULL(viewCases.Subject,'') + '</b><br />' + ISNULL(viewCases.InternalComments,'')

I am not quite sure how method handles ...

I've not populated any of the name fields on the Customer (Customer not contact!), just Customer Name, Company Name and Contact as stated. Is this a case of Method interpretting the data I've entered. The name (forename/middlename/surname) fields are empty in both Method and QB.
Cheers
Rick

So you can think of it as the Customer being a ‘subset’ of the Entity table for instance. The reason this is done is so that you can for example be able to write a check to an employee, to a vendor or even ...

Hello Rick,
It looks like you are trying to add Leisure in the MiddleName fields and it only supports 5 characters. So, if you go over 5 characters it truncates the rest. My suggestion here would be to use FirstName and LastName field as they allow upto 25 characters each.
I hope that helps!

Hi
I have added a new customer to my system called DP Leisure GB Ltd
I added them with the Customer Name, Company Name and Contact fields all set to DP Leisure GB Ltd.
However, I noted that the Contact field had been changed to DP Leisu GB Ltd
Thinking it was my clumsy thumbs, I deleted and re-added but again the Contact was ...
