Hi Fran,
I tried this on my end by creating a new report using Customer as the master table. In the design on the right-hand side I see ‘dataSet1’ but can expand this by clicking the ‘+’ which shows Company and Customer.
Can you please verify and see if you have this option?

1. Custom fields created in Method will remain on the Method side only.
2. Your custom fields from QB are integrated with Method, but you will have to customize the Method screen and drag the desired fields on the screen so they can be used.

This was not so much an issue with Method but could have been a result of the MAJOR changes that were done in QB aside from the name change by the accountant. Let us know how things went with our solution.
