Either Tags or a Custom field would work fine for your purpose here. Although I would say tags would be a more robust option considering you are trying to categorize your contacts by multiple metrics.

All the 'List' screen Views are filtering out the App Specific Activity Types, so it would be good to keep the consistency.

Hi there,
The Update button by default does the equivalent of saving, and refreshing the grid. However you can have actions which are set to trigger after this has happened.
Have you tried using the Actions after Edit actionset on the grid itself? You can find this by editing the grid, and clicking next until you hit Step 5 of 9: Allow ...

In the Contacts app - the Edit Enity and View Contact screens are based off 2 different tables, Entity(Customer/Lead/Vendor etc..) and Contact respectively.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles!
When the sync engine logs out - are you seeing any errors display in Windows? Is QuickBooks shutting down at all?
You may just need to reinstall the sync engine to get this working again - You can find the complete Uninstall Steps in This Help Centre Article

How long roughly are we talking before the Estimate 'disappears' from Method? Are they still visible in QuickBooks? Its possible these Estimates have simply fallen outside of the Transaction History which Method Keeps for your Quickbooks Transactions.
