Hello, I don't know what my client's "customer account" is -- and neither does the client!  I'm assuming this must be some sort of unique ID.  Is it found somewhere within the admin interface?  If so, please advise.   Thanks.

Hi MM, You’re certainly free to create items in Method and the ability is available via our stock screens. You can find this by navigating to QuickBooks > Lists > Items. Hi furrywombat, Unfortunately, this goes beyond the scope of what you can accomplish via customization. There’s no way for a Method screen to send info to an external web page or receive data back from it. --Audisho

Hi Trish, You need to match the correct contact using the Entity field on the Contacts table. This is a dropdown of the FullName field from the Customer table. I did mention this in one of my previous replies. Please be sure to read my instructions carefully, as mistakes in customization can easily lead to data corruption. --Audisho

Hi Trish, The primary contact will have a value of “Contact” in the SpecialType field. Secondary contacts will have a value of “AltContact” and Method-only contacts will have a blank value. I hope this helps. --Audisho

It turns out we do not use QB for anything other but uploading our new items. Is there a way around that to have items uploaded dirrectly to Method? Would it create problems with assigning taxes to bills? Thank you. MM
