This one will drive you crazy. Because in 2 minutes you'll post back saying "it happened again".
Reason: by default the Edit Customer tab link is hidden. So if you create an action that goes to that tab link, you should use the Show/Hide tab link action to make sure that tab link is visible.

@JoF - further to what Ronen said, custom fields are not supported now for QuickBooks Online (they are for Desktop).

John - developers, using the QuickBooks SDK, unfortunately don't have access to it.
We just gained access to it for QuickBooks Online (came in their December release), which we expect to implement soon. Down the road (I would say 12 months?) I would expect us to have access to this for QB Desktop, one way or another.
