Hey Baytonemus,
You will find the CheckNumber field in the SalesReceipt table. The view/edit donations screen is based off of the SalesReceipt table.

Is it possible to close a estimate without deleting it? Not all of our quotes lead to sales and so we need the ability to close the quote but not delete it for our records. In the past, we've gone ahead and deleted the quote... but obviously this isn't good practice if we want to figure out our sales conversion ...
