Happy to message you that, but I don't know exactly what you mean by Tag Field on my spreadsheet. In this instance I am not importing anything from a spreadsheet, I just entering it directly into Method.

So it seems that creating a relationship via a dropdown to a unique value in the corresponding table allows me to select any item from that field through the dropdown. I would assume making sure that the dropdown field cannot contain typed-in values not listed in the related table will require validation rules set on the field.

If you are only going to be adding additional options to these fields very rarely or only once, the quickest option would be to import new values into these tables using the Import / Export tool.
