When you first copied the screen you should have selected Replace links to an existing screen on Step 3 of 3. That's most likely why the option is not showing up when editing a contact. I created my custom field in the Customer table as well. Did you delete your linked field then re-add it to point to the Entity table?

Yeah I heard of one user experiencing something similar on Windows 8 while using Internet Explorer 10. However, using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox works fine.

Alright I just did the same thing you did, but instead of using County I used my own custom field. I was able to get the field to show up on my report successfully. Two things that could be the cause here:
