• Re: Linking Tables via Dropdown Only Shows RecordID

Glad to see you got this figured out. Something else to try if you run into this again is to click "Finish editing fields" in the table you wish to link. On occassion, the table sometimes needs to be regenerated before the text field options show up. - Adam

  • Re: Missing invoices

Yes that's correct. One thing I want to note is that the farther back you sync transactions, the slower the syncing process will be. You might want to select only certain transaction types to have a longer range. If you have a large QuickBooks file with lots of transactions, each full sync will resync all of ...

  • Re: Missing invoices

Hi Tiger65, Its quite possible that your transaction history is only set for the past 31 days. As a result, only transaction within that timeframe will sync into Method. This can be adjusted to a larger time frame or even all of your transactions. You can find this under the QuickBooks tab > Synchronize (you can also adjust ...

  • Re: Need help with SQL Override syntax.

Mark - Thanks for the input. :) viret56, Just as Mark said, this would be a tall order, and unfortunately beyond the scope of help we could provide over the forums. His suggestion of dynamically filtering a grid of estimates I think is the best suggestion. This will allow you to see some details about the estimates before ...

David - Just wanted to let you know that the above post meant to say 6 to 7 actions. It's been corrected. Let me know if you have any questions. - Adam

  • Re: Adding "Markup" total to Estimates

Hi David, In your case, what you could do is loop through the grid and do 3 Basic Math Calculations. The first would be to get the QTY times the Rate. The M arkup is added after the Rate x QTY, so we'll need this number calculated for each line item. Save it as an action result (ex. QTYxR). Then, take the action result ...

  • Re: SpecialType field editing

Tom, Just wanted to let you know that another option would be to add a dropdown list field. This way you can just select a lead or customer type without having to type anything in. This will also allow you to dynamically update that list if additional types need to be added. You can find some information on creating ...

  • Re: Converting a lead to a customer - address issues

Hi David, In what screen do you see that address as different, the main Edit Customer screen or another screen? Customers and Leads are actually located in the same table in Method, the Entity table. The only difference between the two is a field called IsLeadStatusOnly. For a Lead record, this field is set to True and prevents ...

  • Re: SpecialType field editing

Hi TomW There are two options I see for you. You could do as Nebo did and create a custom field and populate it. This will require some customization to edit the screens to add the new field to the screen and the grid. Also, depending on how the Leads are coming into the system, some additional work may also be ...

  • Re: cant reduce the number of paid users

For anyone who may have a similar issue. This was resovled by checking the Show Inactive users checkbox in the bottom right corner of the Existing Users List. This showed all users and we found that there was an inactive user still had sign-in access. - Adam
