If you were to do a linked field, you would not be able to edit it. I would suggest creating a Title field in your Customer table. You can then add two actions in the Save button to insert the value of the Title field on screen to the Title field in the Contacts table. This is something that can be done through the API. You could use the the MethodAPIInsertFile or MethodAPIUpdateFile operations. I'm not very familiar with the API myself, but I can move this post to the API forum where our developers can help you.

I did get a bit of clarification. We can in fact see the field LinkedTxn field through the SDK but we don't currently bring it into Method. It is available for Invoices, but not for InvoiceLineItems. I can't say if or when this might get added but I'll bring it up with the team.

No you're not missing anything. Roles used to be controlled by tablinks, which is why you see tablinks in the table. I'll put in a suggestion to see if we can change this or add a table so you can pull a user's role through actions.
