Last Friday, while customizing screens, I started to receive error messages that my fields no longer existed in a table. This was not the case. Someone at Method recommended that I rebuild (regenerarte???) my table and that did the trick. I cannot find this command anywhere. Where do I find this command?

I am still writing about the Customer screen, as in my last post. My users have requested that they would like to click on the email address (we will take a button adjacent to the email address) that allows them to send an email. I have found commands in the text box properties that allow me to "add actions" including "send ...

Greetings,
I've noticed the ease in which one may update a customer record, forget to save, and simply switch to another record. All changes are lost without warning. I was hoping to fix this issue before my users decided to jump into Method, but it's too late now. I have created a pop-up message that appears on load to ...

Valbon,
It definitely helps to know that if I add a field to the Customer table it will appear in the Entity table. Initially, I could not find some of the custom fields that I added to one of the tables (can't remember which is which) in a screen based on a table with "shared" fields. I am wondering if some of the ...

I do not know what I did, but I received an error message that some of my custom fields do not exist when I am in the screen that I have been working on for days. The error tells me that these custom fields are not in the table associated with the screen I created, but they are or I would not have been able to pull drag them in!
I checked ...

Amanda,
Thanks for confirming -- I get it now!
It seems to me that if I want to make a change after entering data, I will need to export the data and re-import it to the correct field name? Is it possible to simply delete data (in a moment of madness) by deleting field names? Also, I do plan to re-use field names. I need to remove them ...

Thanks James!
I am so happy I am just in the design stage!

Ryan told me how to do this and I cannot remember. I am trying to get rid of all (or most) of the search boxes and just use column headings. I recall that it had something to do with customizing something called "entity" and it was relatively convoluted. How do I find this again?

Greetings,
I created numerous customer fields in my custom screen. I was a bit hurried and would like to convert some of the field types, i.e., from "text" to a calendar or text to "yes/no." I thought I messed up by having added the field to the wrong table (i.e., the default but not my custom screen). No matter where I ...
