You'll need to add the field to the Edit Contact screen to be able to save that selection to the Contact record. That's why it's not showing up on the View Contact screen. I already had the dropdown working in the New Contact screen. Not worrying about Edit Contact at this point. I have already added the CustomerCategory field to the View Contact screen.
