Hey Aaron,
As per our last thread - why not add it as a second attachment to the Send Email action? Give that a try and see if it will work in your case. If not we can further troubleshoot.

On the feature request ticket, I think the feature being requested is not to transfer the location from a Google Calendar event to a custom Method activity field, but rather to make location one of the default/stock fields for a meeting activity. You definitely can, in the Send Email action you can click the plus sign beside the Attachment Location field to add more attachments.

You need to click on Show for section: 'Add /Edit Activity' and leave the other sections hidden.
For the custom section you created you will also need to make sure it's not hidden.
