We actually have an option to uncheck items so that they don't show on an invoice.
The unchecked items won't show when the invoice is created. This will allow you to enter your job costing as needed on the work order.

Hi Grif,
We discussed this over the phone. For anyone else, you must have job items in the work order to select in the Job Item dropdown. This is a required field for a time tracking entry.

Yes you can schedule a work order as a follow up. You'll need to make sure that the option "App Specific" is unchecked for the activity type. Something to keep in mind however is that since the activity screen is designed much differently, there won't be a Job Name or any job items associated with ...

I added the Save and Refresh grid actions and that seems to be the issue. Could you remove those actions and try again? They shouldn't be needed anyways, as the values will be saved when you click the update or save buttons.
