I believe you are looking at two different areas and they are only related by the client but not by their transactions. When you are applying payment to an invoice then those values are reflected in the Transaction of the client. While Opportunities are a separate area and does not related to the Transactions.

I want to update you that we have place a distinct message for this situation in an upcoming Method release. The message will warn the user if they trying to make a customer inactive when they are syncing with QB Online.

One more option is use our import/export tool (under Customize > Integration Tools) to export all customers. You can simple use the functions in Excel to filter the list with your requirements.

A simple way to produce a Customer list with a certain "Customer Type" is to build a grid from a Customer table and filter it by "Customer Type". You can customized a new or old screen to get this information.

If you are using the Outlook plugin with Method then you can set up the Email Open Notification (Request a Read Receipt) when sending an email from Outlook. If you are send an email straight from Method then we do not have this function.

Just another note to help with the case.
After retrieving the value of the previous Call Report, you will need to perform a Basic Math action to increment the Call Report number by 1

You can take a look at the Character Function action. Use this action to
- Retrieve value from table to get the number for the last record.
