Just to elaborate, there is a Email confirmation when saving? option on the Add/Edit Contacts screen. If this is enabled and you click Save & Email after making changes, both yourself and the contact will receive a notification (assuming there's a valid email address assosciated with the Method contact).

Hey DavidD,
The email is only sent to the contact who updated the profile as well as the Portal administrator (you). By default emails are not sent out when Contact information is updated within the CRM, this only happens in the portal. Hope this helps!

Hey DavidD,
Your contacts just need to have unique email addresses in Method, they're not required to be in QuickBooks since Method supports multiple contacts per customer. They can manually register by accessing your portal. Hope this helps!

Alternatively, if you do not wish to perform any customization or if it's not something you want to check frequently then you can just export the UserSignInLog table. Check out our Import/Export Help Center article which includes an awesome video tutorial.

You can easily accomplish this by creating a new screen based off the UserSignInLog table. Add a Grid object to the screen then edit the grid to include the fields you want to see, e.g. UserName, SignInDate, SignInIPAddress, etc. Save & Close the screen then you can view it by hovering over the name of the screen and clicking the ...

We use Mac OS X as well and have been unable to reproduce this behaviour. Go to Customize > Portals > click Edit... next to the approrpiate portal and ensure that the Portal Name field is not blank. If it isn't then advise those customers to clear their browser history and try again.
