Hi dottie,
You need to edit your ContactsList screen and add the 'Name' field, which is actually linked to the FullName field in the Entity table, as it is a required field. Any field with a red asterisk next to it in the stock screen is important and needs to be included, please see the screenshot below.

Try placing those fields in separate rows and check the outcome. Double check the settings for both fields and play with their alignment settings, alternatively edit them to show next to each other then remove the setting and see if that helps. FYI - Our October release is now available and it includes the ability to clear checkboxes in a grid. If you want to start using it go to the Method CRM login page and at the bottom of the screen click the Switch to the October version link.
